Lily's 6 months

Lily is now 6 months old, and dang is she cute. This video was taken a few weeks ago, so she can move pretty much where ever she wants now. She is growing up so fast. She now has 2 bottom teeth which are too cute and her hair is even growing in a little. She can roll and scoot, almost crawl any where she wants. She still loves toys and now eats baby food. Even though I have to say she makes a cute "yucky" face when she doesn't like it. She likes it mixed with rice cereal the best. Her favorite is still just plain rice cereal, which I think is weird. She sleeps great at night if she has her naps during the day. She is just an all around good baby. She loves to laugh and can sit up alone a little bit, we are workin' on that. And last Sunday when James was home with Cullen and Lily because Cullen got sick right before we left for church, she said "DADA" I was kinda sad but it was cute. I'm really workin' on MAMA now. She is just a delight but man is she growing up fast.

Secret Hide-Out

Cullen and Sophia decided to have a Secret Hide out. They were playing in it one day and asked if they could sleep back there. This is the futon bed we have in our play room, they set up there blankets, pillows, night lights and all behind the bed. It was a tight squeeze but it was kinda cute with them playing like that.Half way through the night Sophia got up and decided she would rather sleep in her bed so I put her in it. Cullen stayed all night. I can't believe he didn't hit his head in the night. But it was fun to take pictures of them in their Secret Hide Out.

SUNBEAM!

Sophia is now a Sunbeam! She was really happy to move on. She is the youngest of the 4 in our ward. She was so happy sitting on the front row. They all did really well for their first week. But Sophia came in with her bejeweled "I am a Child of God" crown with her arms folded. But during singing time she couldn't see the board and she said "Mom, I can't see the board" then later on she said " Mom, can we get out of here yet?" Everyone has a laugh, my cute Sophia. Later she came and sat next to me and when I got up for the closing song and moved my music stand, she moved her chair next to my stand to sing the closing song. It was too cute. I thought that with a little girl that she would be shy and petite. She's pretty much Cullen in girl form. Same temper, same excitement, not shy at all, and always love attention! Atleast I know what to expect (kinda). She is going to be a great SUNBEAM!

New Years Eve Party

New Years Eve! Well, we had a party for ringing in the new year. Everyone came and I think the kids out numbered the adults but hey they had fun. James projected Mario Kart onto our enormously blank white wall and the kids had fun with that. We played some imaginiff with everyone and had a few laughs. (it's a real fun game if you haven't played, but you kinda have to know the people you are playing with.) My mom bought a costco pack of those Poppers with the strings that come out and I'm pretty sure we had atleast 100. The kids all stayed up to pull them at 12:01 but I think Todd had the most fun, pulling at least 8 all at the same time.

That's when all the fun began. I made Breakfast for everyone all to the sweet tunes of GNR's greatest hits. Diane and I were rockin' in the kitchen but I don't think that all the people there really felt the same way as we do when it comes to some music. Anyways it was fun. Diane made a hot Chocolate bar, with lots of different flavors and marshmallows, everyone loved it even the kids.

Lily woke up like a quarter til 12 and of course with all the noise did not go back to sleep so easy. It was the one night that Uncle Jason let Cullen be as Loud as he wanted when he said "Happy New Year" outside. So Cece and Olivia decided to decorate Lily's swing with some of the confetti strings. They thought it was so cool, so I had to take a picture. And ofcourse my money minded 5 year old that always likes to sell things decided to collect all that confetti and save it until he will "sell it" to passerbys in the neighborhood like a lemonade stand. Yeah, he loves to sell people things. But Happy New Year to everyone.

December

As December was full of family and fun and Christmas and stuff, I really didn't blog much so here are something that we did. If you haven't heard we got snow here. Here is a really cute pic of our (actually James and the kids, I don't like snow so I didn't go outside) Snowman. It was pretty cool, especially with my Gryfindor scarf, I wish we had put harry potter glasses on him that would have been cool. James was great playing with the kids because i surely did not want to. But they had fun, and man did they get cold quick I think I took on and off their snow clothes every five minutes or so. But hey their kids that live in the desert and really had not seen snow much in their remembering years.
Lily started on rice cereal. I knew that I could have done it early but I waited until she was 5 1/2mo. She loved the stuff. I've never had a Child that liked it so much. She hasn't had any problems so far, fingers crossed. She gets so excited to eat. I can't wait for baby food, I think she will Love it.

Just some cute pictues of the kids in there beautiful Christmas Clothes. I think Cullen looks very handsome in this suit, especially with that red tie, so dashing.
Sophia had many different Christmas dresses to choose from this year. I think she could wear a different Christmas dress from the week of Thanksgiving to the week after Christmas, and some of them even had the tags. that's what you get when you have 2 older cousins and a Grandma that buys new Christmas dresses every year.
